Hang on baby!
Mama said there’d be days like this…(be honest, you just sang that didn’t you?) 😃 good. I wanted you to! You know the old saying, “the sun doesn’t shine on the same dog’s behind every day?” Well some dogs are freezing their tails off! And today, I can relate to those pooch friends! I mean, my brazier is hanging on by two worn out prongs and that’s one more than I have mentally going on today. 🥴 Physically, I’m present here but mentally and spiritually, I’m sitting by a bubbling stream, looking at a beautiful Meadow and listening to bird song. Enjoying God’s creation in peacefulness. Sounds so lovely doesn’t it? I’m not sure what has happened to me lately but I’m blaming menopause. For someone who has spent her life being a people person, lately I am just trying to find the balance between “fake it till you make it” and “get off my lawn!” What’s going on? Anyone else in this boat with me? Loving people like Jesus takes more effort than it used to. Lord, I need your grace. ...
